Banksy Masterpiece
Banksy - Artist or Vandal?

Banksy the self dubbed Art Terrorist from Bristol has been called both an artist and a vandal, and many debates have taken place over the question "Is it Art or vandalism?" I personally class most of banksy's work as that of a talented artist with a good sense of humour.

Banksy Unmasked at last?

Has banksy been finally unmasked? Reports in national newspapers are reporting that the true identity of banksy may of finally been exposed. There is an uncanny resemblance in the life of a Robert Gunningham, a public schoolboy from bristol and the infamous Mr B! See the story for yourself on the Daily Mail website Here

Banksy - Urban Legend

Banksy is also a bit of an urban legend, with his identity shrouded in darkness. There have been only a handful of photos alledging to be him but nonehave been confirmed. Due to the shroud of secrecy surrounding his real identity and his subversive character; Banksy has achieved somewhat of a cult following.

Banksy Politics

Banksy's works are interpreted in a lot of ways but most are believed to reflect his extreme leftist views.

Banksy Art

Banksy started life as a freehand street grafitti artist in bristol in the early 80's, he was believed to be a member of the DryBreadZ Crew. He then went on to stencilling and his work started appearing in Londons streets as well as Bristols. He has since covered many different media including painting, sheep, cows and even an elephant!.

His works are now very sought after, and owning an original banksy is now only a dream for most of us. Many of the rich and famous including hollywood A-listers Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have bought banksy's art pushing prices sky high.

Banksy Real life Superhero

Imagine having the power of banksy! He could paint my front door one night and in the morning he has changed my life forever. I could instantly pay off my mortgage and get a job I enjoyed doing and my family would be set!.
Imagine that power of making a difference. In a way it's like having the gift of life, by just putting his mark on you he can change your life. A modern day Robin Hood, finding worthy causes, leaving his calling card and enabling that charity to continue.
Is that not a momentous gift to be born with ? Look out for a man in a phone box, stencil and spray can at the ready!

"If you have a statue in the city centre you could go past it every day on your way to school and never even notice it, right. But as soon as someone puts a traffic cone on its head, you've made your own sculpture."
